Who we are

Please consider and respect how we work to avoid complaints or unnecessary questions.

We are 2 persons working in a team. The operation and stock including shipment are divided onto these 2 persons and these are also managed from different locations / cities. We both run WIKIMP as a hobby which means that we are regulary employed and work for Wikimp in our spare time.

Therefore it is fairly difficult to reach us by phone. If you really want to talk to us on the phone, you may leave your message on the answering-machine. We will then call you back, but please keep in mind that we may call back in the evening (6.00 pm to 9.00 pm GMT+1 or on weekends). The best way to send us your messages or questions is using eMail or fax - these can be answered at any time.

How we work

In most cases you order in our online-shop. This shop-system sends you an automatic receipt. THIS IS NOT THE CONFIRMATION !!!!!

Your order is transferred from the shop-system to the operational office and then registered and confirmed by hand. After the registration the confirmation is being produced. Within this confirmation you will see the current status of your order in terms of availability, pricing and other conditions. If some items are not available yet and announced for a couple of months in the future, you might receive more than one confirmation. The confirmation includes all your personal data, the ordered items, eventual notes about availability, shipment and payment-method. You will receive only one eMail with the confirmation as PDF-attachment. The confirmed total of your order is the relevant sum for clients who have chosen the pre-payment-method. If one item is listed with a price of 0,00 EUR, the final price is not known at this time. In this case, please with sending any payments until the price is known, then add the missing price on your own on top of the confirmed total sum and transfer the money as requested.

On a regular basis we check our bank account and after payment the invoice will be produced and then sent to the stock & shipment office. After this point these orders can be viewed only with additional expenses. Collecting several orders to one invoice and shipment is therefore usually not possible. Orders with pre-payment - regardless of the availability of the ordered items - which are not paied within 14 days, will be cancelled. The payment has to be registered within 14 days on our bank account.

If clients have chosen the electronic money-transfer, the confirmations will stay active until delivery and the shipment and the payment-transfer will be started on the same day. We try to collect as many items as possible to reduce shipment-costs. Please make sure that you account is valid for the moneytransfer. A moneytransfer which isnot possible will be charged with additional EUR 10,00.

The shipment

Our standard shipment is fulfilled by HERMES in Europe. If you wish, you may decide to receive your shipment with DHL which is usually a little bit more expensive. This is important for clients who have chosen a "Packstation" (only Germany) as delivery-address since these addresses can only be served by DHL itself.

If you want to know whether your paied order has been sent, please contact our stock office at versand@wikimp.de - Upon request you will receive the parcel-number and may use the tracking-service of the specific shipment-partner. Please keep in mind that we have enough work to do in our stock office, so please ask for any shipment-status only if it is really necessary. All other requests concerning your order can be sent to our oprational office at bestellung@wikimp.de - we will answer your message as soon as possible.

Method of payment

The best method of payment is the electronic moneytransfer / debit from your banking-account (only Germany). This makes work a lot easier since debit and shipment are done at the same time and you might spare additional shioment charges. The other method of payment is pre-payment. In this case you have to pay within 14 days after you have received our confirmation, regardless if the ordered item(s) is available or not. Otherwise the order will be cancelled without any message.

Other methods of payment are not accepted in any case! Payment upon receipt of the parcel is too expensive, so is payment by credit-card and Paypal.

Complaints

Although we usually do not receive any complaints since we only send unobjectionable items, but of course we can not check every model by hand. In addition it could be that the items are damaged during shipping. The number of damages is extremly low.

If you have complaints or want to return the delivered items, there is only one way without any changes: You have to send us written complaint, either by eMail or by fax, including the invoice-number which you will find on the invoice within the parcel. Without this number we will can not answer your complaint!!! After that, return the parcel without charges for us to our "Parcelstation" in Krefeld. We will only accept returned parcels without additional charges for shipping otherwise your returned parcel will be returned to you again.

According to operational reasons, returns are only possible via DHL. Other sendings will reach us outside of our operational hours and therefore will be returned to the sender.

We will then check your complaint and the sent items. if your complaint is correct, you will receive a new item in exchange of the damaged one - if available. If the item is not available any more or you have decided to return the item within 14 days, we will cash-back the order. For this we will need your banking-details.

Why do I have to wait so long?

As already mentioned WIKIMP is our hobby. Since we are both regularly employed and the person responsible for the stock and shipment is sometimes on a business trip, most of the work is done on weekends. Therefore it might take a little bit longer. If you do not want to risk to wait, then please do not place your order at WIKIMP. In some cases we might be able to send an item from today to tomorrow, but this is only possible upon request. Complaints referring to the schedule / waiting time are not accepted. If you need a fast delivery, please ask before you order (e.g. by E-Mail). We will then see what we can do.
